Dogs Available for Adoption
Heidi:

Our third dog under Foster is a one year old White Shepherd named Heidi. She is staying at one
of our new foster families who were kind enough to take her in just after they lost their retriever
Chance.

Heidi had been tied up to a porch for some time when a friend of Brendan's Meadows
approached the homeowner about the dog and was told that a relative had left her there and that
the dog was not being properly cared for.

They surrendered the dog no questions asked.

Once again, the dog needs veterinary care and this time is not spayed. Brendan's Meadows has
taken care of the initial veterinary visit but the spaying is currently awaiting funding. Any
donations are greatly appreciated.

She seems like a very friendly dog and is very good with people, curious with other dogs and
great with the foster family's children who are 6 and 8.

She is heart worm negative but tested positive for lime which we are treating.

Shepherd's are not for everyone (We know this from our Meadow) but they make wonderfully
devoted pets and are very protective.
